These photographs were made from a small aircraft out of Princeton Airport, beginning at 4:30am. The rule was simple: the first five minutes of sunrise, when the whole New York skyline goes gold. Better than anything in Photoshop. These images were shot with FAA clearance, orbiting Central Park at 2,000 feet.
